I keep a sketchbook full of words, phrases and images that I think are lovely or funny or interesting,'you set my heart aflame' is one of those phrases. I love how it captures the drama and passion of love. I thought it would be fun to make a card that combined a 'real' object with printed elements. My five year old son is a bit worried tho', when he saw the finished card he said'I don't want your heart to go on fire mummy!'.

Are you dizzy and distracted? Weak at the knees? Have you lost your appetite? Is there a far away look in your eyes? Do you find yourself endlessly doodling your initials intertwined with those of your one true love? Tell that special someone how much you love them with this hand screen printed Valentine's card.
Hand pulled, screen printed card. The inside of the card is blank for your own message. This listing is for a single card, in pink, also available in red and orange.
The text on the card reads 'you set my HEART AFLAME'. A screen printed heart is about to be ignited by a 'flame' from a real (spent) match. Each match has been carefully flattened on one edge the tip sealed using glue fore being stuck to the card using strong PVA glue (I would advise against pulling at the match tho'). All calligraphy and imagery is created by my own fair hand (and mouse).
Printed on high quality A6 white card with white envelope.
