I am inspired by everything natural and organic – especially close up surfaces such as tree bark, rocks, and plants. Whilst concealed amongst these natural surroundings in the landscape, I feel relaxed and at home. I find it amazing to see the changes in rocks and coves caused by weathering and erosion from the sea, bumpy and colourful linear patterns found within fields and hills, and the surfaces in nature where no two marks are ever the same – it is this particular aspect that my ceramics connects to. You will find collections of my work ranging from dandelions to clouds, and leaves to frozen lakes.

Full description
This set of ceramic dishes were handmade in my studio as a completely unique and one-off set.
Glazed in a beautiful dappled mauve and blue with decorative areas of recycled glass that has melted and pooled into delicate shapes.
These dishes can be displayed as a group or separately. They would look stunning in the centre of a dining table. Alternatively they could be used to hold tea light candles or jewellery and other small trinkets and knick-knacks.
Each petal measures approx 15-18cm.
The item you will receive is the exact set of ceramic dishes pictured.
