I am inspired by everything natural and organic – especially close up surfaces such as tree bark, rocks, and plants. Whilst concealed amongst these natural surroundings in the landscape, I feel relaxed and at home. I find it amazing to see the changes in rocks and coves caused by weathering and erosion from the sea, bumpy and colourful linear patterns found within fields and hills, and the surfaces in nature where no two marks are ever the same – it is this particular aspect that my ceramics connects to. You will find collections of my work ranging from dandelions to clouds, and leaves to frozen lakes.

Full description
This handmade ceramic plaque measures approx 12 x 10cm, and has a brown lace texture impressed into the surface with two ceramic roses.
A dusky pink textured glaze decorates the edge of the roses.
This is a completely unique and one-off piece, handmade with love in my studio.
