This long pendant is part of my 'Blackwave' collection and is perfect for everyday wear - The technique I have used to create the 3D domed quality and texture is called Repousse and involves hammering the metal with punches, this shapes and textures the metal at the same time.The Silver is then oxidised to create the dramatic dark colour contrast.
This pendant hangs beautifully when worn and works well as an everyday pendant but also looks stunning when worn with evening wear.
Each piece is entirely handmade so each piece is unique.

Full description
Handmade in my Yorkshire studio, this Sterling Silver Pendant which is part Oxidised to create the two tone black and silver colour contrast is part of my Blackwave Range. It is a long slim oval drop which has been gently domed and textured using the technique of Repousse. The drop has a concealed silver tube soldered on the back which has a 16" Sterling Silver Snake Chain threaded through. The technique I use is produced by hand so each piece is unique.
