Full description
A lovely large jug in a rustic style. Perfect as a pitcher for serving cold drinks or as a vase for display around your home. These jugs are hand-thrown in stoneware clay and decorated using a wood ash glaze made from real wood ash to my own recipe. The result is an olive green glaze which looks beautiful against the natural colour of the bare stoneware clay.
Each jug has my own unique pottery seal at the base of the handle. This glaze is food safe and dishwasher safe - although I recommend hand washing larger pieces. Please note that slight variations in glaze and decoration are a nature of handmade ceramics.
