This is the original Acorn Tea Cosy, designed by me. I was very proud to have this product featured in Landscape Magazine (Sept/Oct 2015 issue)
I have hand knitted this autumn tea cosy using a lovely 100% aran wool which should keep your teapot nice and warm. I have knitted an acorn and oak leaf for the top which is made using a mixture of wool and cotton yarns. It will fit a standard 4 - 6 cup teapot and is fairly stretchy to accommodate various styles of teapot.
This would look perfect at an autumn or winter themed tea party. If you love this, how about a mug cosy or egg cosy to match. There is also a small one cup tea cosy and mug cosy with the same oak leaf and acorn. Just take a look in my shop for further details.
I would recommend hand washing this item. Do not tumble dry.
