Full description
Walter is a unique, handmade textile art bird based on a magpie. His body is made from two different black, white and grey fabrics, with his wings and tail using a heavier weight textile in a silky chinese print with distressed edges. His tail has wire inserted to help it stand up and his wings are slightly padded and finished with quilted detailing to emphasise feathers. His eyes are black beads which have been stitched on, his beak made from 100% wool felt and his feet & legs are made from wire wrapped with floristry tape and finished off at the top with black fabric with a distressed look.
This wonderful bird stands approx 25cm (10") tall.
Walter is a complete one of a kind bird and would look great on a window ledge, mantelpiece or shelf. Walter is not a toy so please don't let him play with children.
