I loved to read fairy stories as a child, especially in books that had old fashioned drawings and when I spotted some recycled vintage fabrics featuring both the Goldilocks and Snow White stories, I just couldn't resist buying it. I wanted to create something that a child would love looking at and that would also inspire lots of story telling and reading.

Full description
Unique bunting using vintage fabric scenes from traditional fairy tales - one flag shows dancing dwarves, in another a little girl cleans a woodland cottage, and a third has some bears, deer and other woodland animals. Just think of the stories you can share with your child - how about Snow White? Or Goldilocks? Or how about a story you make up together.
And if you fancy a change, just reverse the bunting for a fresh spring feel with strawberries, spots, florals, and checks combined with a hotch-potch of patchwork in red, pink and green. (prints will vary)
This bunting would make a fantastic gift for a new baby or toddler. Or why not combine with a story book as a gift for a child who is just starting to read.
Each flag is securely sewn to handmade cotton binding - double top stitched to prevent unecessary stretching. There are loops at each end for hanging.
There are 7 flags, each measuring 7.5 inches (19cm) wide and 9 inches deep (22cm).
The full length of the bunting is 85 inches - about 215 cm.

Vintage fabric (1960s or 70s cotton)
100% cotton print fabrics
Can be washed by hand and line dried. Iron as for cotton.
