I am keeping my shop open for browsing and am very happy to reserve items for customers. While the Royal Mail is still operating, I am able to post goods without visiting a post office, however please note that items are taking longer to arrive than usual.
A card and keepsake in one! The wiggly worm inside the book-shaped card is of course a bookmark which can be detached and used over and over again! The perfect way to say thank you to a special teacher. The wording on the front of the card reads, ‘Thank You for Teaching Me by Mark Paige’ and inside the card it reads ‘Just to say …’
The bookworm is crocheted in 100% cotton and his head is lined with felt. His eyes are glass beads and the spectacles are sewn in embroidery thread. The whole book mark measures approximately 20 cm long.
It comes in alabelled PIP (Postage in Proportion) box all ready to be gifted or posted if required.
I began with the idea of a bookworm bookmark as a keepsake gift for a teacher and attached inside a book-shaped card seemed the perfect way to present it.
Having worked in several schools, I know the weakness of many teachers for a dodgy pun, so this was my inspiration for the author of the book!
