Full description
Two hand thrown cappuccino cups with saucers glazed in smokey blue and forest green. Handmade Stoneware Pottery by littlewrenpottery on Folksy.
Nothing brings people together quite like a chat over a hot cup of frothy coffee and maybe a nice biscotti, these two cappuccino cups were created to add a little bit of italian coffee shop flair at home.
Each cup was hand thrown on my potters wheel from British white stoneware clay and glazed in either smokey blue or glossy forest green. They feature round curvy shape, a gently beveled drinking edge and sturdy pulled handle to support the weight of the cup when filled.
Throwing rings remain on each piece giving a gentle texture where my hands have drawn the clay upwards. The set also comes with two matching saucers, each one is gently curled to rest your spoon upon or have a sneaky biscuit!
Each piece can be cleaned in the dishwasher.
- Cup one is 12 cm (4.7 inches) in diameter and 7.5 cm (2.9 inches) in height
- Saucer one is 14.5 cm (5.7 inches) in diameter
- Cup two is 11.5 cm (4.5 inches) in diameter and 7.5 cm (2.9 inches) in height
- Saucer two is 14.5 cm (5.7 inches) in diameter
As much as I love our furry friends this piece was created in a pet free and smoke free studio.
I post out all my items Royal Mail first class parcel post which can take 1 - 2 days or standard airmail for international orders which takes 5 days.
