Hand thrown butter dish glazed in transparent with slip design. Handmade Stoneware Pottery by littlewrenpottery on Etsy.
The plate is 9.0 inches (23 cm) in diameter. The domed lid is 7.2 inches (18.5 cm) in diameter and 3.9 inches (10 cm) in height. The dome has an inner diameter of 6.4 inches (16.5 cm) in diameter.
Hand thrown on my potters wheel this butter dish features a ledged plate, round dome and a slip design across the surface of the lid. It has been glazed simply in a transparent glaze for a glossy finish and to allow the slip to show through underneath.
Designed to be both functional and decorative this dish will store butter pats or cheese in your fridge. It could also be used to hold garlic or onions and keep it away from other items to stop their fragrance tainting the taste of other foods.
It's flat bottom will sit firmly on your table and it has been hand stamped with the Little Wren Pottery seal marking it out as a handcrafted piece.
This butter dish can be cleaned in the dishwasher.
