Please enjoy browsing and should you buy a doll she will be packaged in an organza bag. I have been given literally hundreds and will use them until they run out rather than let them go to landfill. Also I have been asked why I don't often repeat combinations of fabric with the dolls. It is because I tend to buy remnant stock where I can, tiny pieces of fabric that are too small for most people to use. So often I have only enough to make one doll. Thank you and my warmest wishes xx

She came out of the fabric, I have had the tiny pieces of fabric for a long time and she emerged from those little pieces. Her velvet collar makes her very flamboyant, with her piled high pink hair. I think she is quite eccentric at heart.

Full description

Hilda is an original handmade cloth doll, she has a hand dyed calico body and has a hand painted face. She carries a little heart and has tiny leather shoes, her hair is hand stitched and styled soft pink wool tops.

She stands 14 inches tall by 7 inches wide and is dressed in old pinks and brown Japanese fabric, she has a recycled velvet collar and stripy recycled legs. She sits nice and quiet or has a ring on her back so that she can hang on the wall. I think she has a very knowing look on her face.

Sadly due to small parts and button joints she is not a toy and is not suitable for children
