Full description
A 2-colour hand-pressed linocut portrait print of the charity campaigner and war veteran Simon Weston OBE.
I created this print whilst taking part in the Sky Arts 'Portrait Artist Of The Year 2013' tv show last year. Mr Weston was my mystery sitter. I didn't do too bad in the end, coming in the top three in the heat I was in! He was a very nice man too.
I have since decided to create an edition of these prints, to try and raise some money for the 'Changing Faces' charity, of which he is a patron. It is a charity for people whose lives are affected by disfigurement (www.changingfaces.org.uk).
For every print sold I will donate £10 to the charity.
Dark grey and light blue inks on off-white Daler-Rowney 220gsm acid-free paper. From an edition of 100, signed and numbered.
The print image measures H15xW10cm.
The paper measures H30xW20cm
All prints will be posted flat in a cellophane sleeve and protective packaging.
