Full description
This shallow wooden yarn bowl is made from local Winter Flowering Cherry which has a beautiful and unusual rippled grain. Although shallow the bowl size will suit all wound yarns. The ball in the pictures is 100gs of chunky knitting wool.
After turning the bowl has been sanded perfectly to allow the yarn to glide unhindered around the inside. To finish, multiple treatments of finishing oil have been applied to protect the wood.
