I was inspired by vintage Czech stamp designs and by the wonderful children's book illustrators Dick Bruna, Alain Gree and Roger Hargreaves. Full description
Original, typographical art print. A cosy cottage sits atop a green hill. A wisp of smoke curls out of the chimney, up into the sky and around a heart. The typography in the smoke reads 'home is wherever I'm with you'.
I created the original imagery and typography by hand. Individually hand screenprinted in my tiny home studio (while baby took a nap). See photos of the studio here http://flic.kr/s/aHsjuWxguton Printed on A3 Seawhite 140gsm cartridge paper. 4 colour print, the sky in this version is printed in a lovely blue-grey. Other colour available in my Folksy shop (yellow). This is a handprinted product, variations, tiny specks of paint and a wee bit of misregistration add to the charm.
Numbered, titled and signed limited edition of 85 prints in each colour way.
Can be trimmed to fit Ikea 'Ribba' frame, see photo. Let me know if you would like me to trim your print. The print fits the matte/mount that comes with the frame.
