Having acquired quite a few cards of darning wool and linen i just had to come up with a way of preserving them in a novel way and this is one of them !

Full description
The body of the doll is a vintage card of linen mending thread and is backed with two layers of black felt. The arms are wired coffee dyed linen (which can be bent ) and the legs are papier mache with little painted shoes. Her head is made from air dry clay ,painted with acrylics and then varnished.
The arms ,legs and head have been securely sandwiched between the back of the card and the felt.
She stands about 21cms. tall
She is unsuitable for children and is sold as a collectable.
