Full description
Set of two wheel thrown pottery mouse mugs in midnight blue. Handmade Stoneware Pottery by littlewrenpottery on Folksy.
Theres a mouse loose about this house! This pair of mugs feature a tiny handmade field mouse on the rim of each cup, maybe he's looking for a place to hide? Or perhaps he's just a friendly teatime companion.
I created these cups by hand throwing them from durable white stoneware clay on my potters wheel. They feature a slightly bulbed shape, a rounded rim and throwing rings remain on the inside and outside where my hands have pulled the clay upwards. A strong pulled handle has been attached to the outside of each mug which will support the weight of the cup when filled with hot water.
A dramatic navy blue glaze decorates the inside and outside of each piece, their flat bottoms have been hand stamped with the Little Wren Pottery seal marking them out as handmade mugs.
These mugs can be cleaned in the dishwasher.

As much as I love our furry friends this piece was created in a pet free and smoke free studio.
I post out all my items Royal Mail first class parcel post which can take 1 - 2 days or standard airmail for international orders which takes 5 days.
