Inspiration for my work comes from the idea of finding beauty in the function of simple pots. Most of us use ceramics everyday, especially in the kitchen. Taking time to drink tea from your favourite mug, or eat soup from an honest bowl can be a simple, background pleasure in life.
I throw all my pots by hand on a pottery wheel, and enjoy throwing as many elements as possible: even lids and knobs. Most of my pottery is made using stoneware clay. Stoneware has a firm texture which I feel best reflects a rustic influence and the plain style of my pottery.
Most of all I hope people enjoy using my pots.

Full description
A simple, versatile little jug in a rustic style. These jugs are hand-thrown on a wheel using stoneware clay and fired in an electric kiln. They are perfect for everyday use in the kitchen especially as milk or cream jugs.
This jug is decorated using a deep brown glaze with a gloss finish. All my glazes are food safe and dishwasher safe.
These jugs measures about 7.5cm x 7cm (3 x 3 inches). Each jug has my own unique pottery seal at the base of the handle. Please note that slight variations in glaze and decoration are a nature of handmade ceramics.
