A pretty, felted and embroidered sunset design decorates this pincushion.
A selection of hand-dyed fibres have been felted to a background of eco felt (produced from recycled plastic bottles) using an embellisher machine. The outline of a tree has been created by 'teasing out' a length of mohair-type, black yarn and felting it into place. The design is enhanced, and stabilised, by hand stitching in fine cottons.
The back of the pincushion is green eco felt. The pincushion is gently stuffed with polyester filling.
