The spring of 2013 is the coldest I can remember. So I needed a little pick-me-up and chose the combination of lovely pastel, mint green and retro patterned cotton... and it worked! I felt the warm spring breeze on my face and the first seeds sprouted tiny little lettuce leaves. Spring is on the way - I can feel it. x

Spring is here!
And what better way to celebrate than this minty green deer head wall hanging?! The time when only carnivores could enjoy stuffed animals on their wall is over! This is a vegetarian trophy!
I made it from lovely green fabric and stuffed it with new polyester stuffing. The fabric for the inside of the ears felt a bit retro and the white antlers are stuffed hard. The black felt eyes have a heart shaped glint.
The painted wood board it is mounted on measures 16,5 x 19,5 cm. The back of the board is covered in felt with a ribbon to hang it with.
This is not meant for children - just playful adults!
