The fabrics used have been repurposed offcuts which I always use to make my fabric items. I decided to cross stitch a stag head after my sister reminded me of when we were lost in Bradgate park during rutting season at dusk, with the noises and darkness drawing in quickly we had to keep calm and get out. Stags are such majestic creatures which is why I picked a dark blue.
