I love making things out of clay. The other day I sat down at my wheel and decided to make a vase. It was a lovely day.

Full description

This vase was made by me on the potters wheel. It's made from a stoneware clay which was first fired to 1000C before glazing and then refiring to 1220C which makes it a very strong, durable and watertight vessel. The warm tones of browns, coffees and yellows make this vase a lovely vessel for wildflowers. I think it would also look wonderful full of paintbrushes, . . . . . . Or ideal for storing your knicknacks in and keeping them out of sight.

Approximately

Height 10.5cm Width across rim 8cm

I sign my pieces with the initials REJM. My parents gave me a long name and then called me by my last!
