Full description
Set of two smokey blue swirled serving bowls. Handmade Stoneware Pottery by littlewrenpottery on Folksy.
My Dad loves to drink a cold pint watch TV and snack on nuts, pretzels and nibbles. With these serving dishes he can keep them right by his favorite chair and maybe share them if I'm lucky!
I threw each of these bowls on my potters wheel by hand. They feature a soft smokey blue glaze on the outside and inside hides a dramatic swirled pattern.
The spirals of colour were painted onto the pot using blue, brown and yellow coloured slips - you can still see the gentle strokes of the brush against the pot in the pattern. The inside of each bowl has been glazed with a simple transparent to show off the bright slip colours underneath.
These distinctive v shaped bowls move down to a flat shallow foot ring which simply finishes off the look of these bowls.
They can be cleaned in the dishwasher.
- Bowl one is 4.5 inches (11.5 cm) in diameter and 2.2 inches (5.5 cm) in height
- Bowl two is 4.5 inches (11.5 cm) in diameter and 2.2 inches (5.5 cm) in height
As much as I love our furry friends this piece was created in a pet free and smoke free studio.
I post out all my items Royal Mail first class parcel post which can take 1 - 2 days or standard airmail for international orders which takes 5 days.
