From my new range of funky modern tableware ' Nu Mex'.
I wanted to create a range of contemporary dinner and tableware, drawing inspiration from tribal decoration and using traditional hand building techniques. Where every piece is unique yet works together in sets and groups with a exotic mix and match quality.
The pieces are to bring a real freshness to your kitchen with bright popping colours and funky interesting textures.

'Cornflower Blue Nuts' Bowl / Dipping Pot
Approximate dimensions - 4 1/2"...................11.5 cm in diameter
These small dipping pots are great for use as preparation bowls in the kitchen, for serving sauces and dips, tapas or finger foods or for a tasty treat of some fresh fruits with cream! Each holds about a good sized handful of your favourite treats!
'Cornflower Blue Nuts' bowl is textured on the underside with real shells and nuts that have, once fired left just their imprints and textures behind. It is really organic and textural feeling. The inside of the bowl is glazed in my own special mix of soft cornflower blue with hints of earthy pale beige with a matt like finish.
All glazes are food safe and are my own special mixes created for durability and vibrancy making each piece individual and unique.
Pieces are oven, microwave and dishwasher safe I would though, due to their uniqueness recommend hand washing.
Each piece is handmade without the use of moulds or a wheel so pieces are not perfectly symmetrical and edges are intentionally rustic. This was my intention and is paramount to the style I wished to create. I have, to the best of my ability provided pictures which give as good a representation as possible and the bowl you will receive will be the same in every aspect as the one pictured though slight variations may occur.
