We draw our inspiration from the wood. We are fortunate to have our own saw mill and will souce local trees where possible. In this case we were extremely fortunate to be sold a small batch of local English Elm Trees which we milled and had drying in our yard for several years. It was only during the drying process that we realised the timber was heavily spalted making it extremely desirable. Given the nobbly nature of the boards, the best use for the short lengths were as mirror frames. Having mastered the technique of retaining the rustic charm, we have produced a small batch of these uniquely individual pieces. Item Elm3
