Orange and red tones flare from this semi precious carnelian barrel stone, complimenting the deep smokey grey stones perfectly. The colours reminded me of holiday sunsets – the last cool drink of the evening sipped watching a deep red sunset flood the horizon with colour.
This is an elegant necklace with a very modern drape, most suited to a square neckline. It could dress up a business suit worn as a statement piece, or give a lovely edge to casual clothes on holiday or at home. The chain and all components used are sterling silver.
