Striving to turn bad news into good news is what all of us do all around the world on a daily basis. Newspapers often tend to report very complex stories in black and white and indeed when we think of a newspaper black and white are the colours that spring to mind but tear it up and spin it into yarn and colours and complexity can be found.
I am inspired by those that pick apart news stories and try to disentangle the facts from opinion - there are too many to mention but Ben Goldacre and NHS Choices "Behind the Headlines" do a good job for health and medicine stories.

Good news is created from bad and old stories are turned into new ones. Make this card a part of your story....(A6 card). Each card is individually crafted and the card signed (words on tag may vary). If you would like to buy a pack or something custom-made please get in touch.
Created from handspun newspaper yarn, the berries were once what seemed at first sight to be black and white newspaper. By tearing it up and spinning it into yarn, enough red was brought out of the newspaper to create berries! The whole design is also made from newspaper yarn handspun by myself.
Please have a look around my shop for more cards and even knitted newspaper yarn!
Thank you.
