Full description
Each daisy has been stitched in a different shade of lilac, onto a hand knitted panel to form the top of this bookmark. The 'tail' of the bookmark is a loop of printed ribbon, weighted with with toning glass beads.
A wool mix yarn, in shades of blue, lilac and pink, has been used to knit the background for this bookmark. Moss stitch has been used to give texture to the design. Daisies have been hand embroidered in a mixture of tapestry wools and knitting yarns. The top of the embroidered panel is embellished with three toning glass beads. The back of the panel is neatened with purple felt. The 'tail' of the bookmark is a loop of printed ribbon, weighted by an attractive 'pendant' of four glass beads.
