Full description
This Sugar Bowl is part of a growing range of tableware that has been inspired by the dramatic stormy hues of the English coast.
I created this item on my potter's wheel using a stoneware clay. Attached to the side is a small strap handle with a decorative coil of clay inspired by the ebb and flow of coastal tides. The fired bowl was then dipped in several glazes creating this unique atmospheric seascape impression.
