After the loss of my cat Elliot 10 years ago, I was very disappointed to find that the vast majority of pet memorial stones for sale were very impersonal and a bit depressing. To top it off, they were also often made with composite plastics open to deterioration. I didn't want these for my Elliot, I wanted a beautiful cat tribute for him, a rustic stone that would last as long as the tree his ashes are buried beneath. I wanted his memorial headstone to be as individual to him as he was to me. I wanted a memorial to remind me to be happy, not sad. So I set about making my own engraved stone tribute just for him. Soon after, family and friends were asking me to do the same for their lost loved ones and I haven't stopped since. Over the last 10 years I have engraved personalised memorial stones for the loveliest of people. I have been sent many wonderful photos to put faces to the names, everyone full of character and as individual as my Elliot.
This is a custom-made item and cannot be returned unless faulty.

Full description
Simple Memorial Stone.
5.5" to 6.5"
All my pet memorial stone grave markers use natural, weathered stone. Unlike the composite plastic stones that will need to be replaced over time, these will sit sympathetically in your garden wherever you have chosen to bury your beloved companion, keeping their memory close.
The size of the stone will be approx 5.5" to 6.5" in length.
The width and weight will vary but you will be sent a photo of the stone along with the designs.
There will be enough space to engrave:
The name of your loved one.
Dates in their most basic form e.g. 2004-2019
Simple pattern motifs like paw prints, hearts, kisses, leaves, butterflies etc.
You will then be emailed approx 6 to 8 design layouts showing how your choice of text and motifs will look on the stone chosen for you.
At this stage any amendments you would like can be made. Also at this stage, if you feel the designs aren't working for you then I am happy to cancel the order for a full refund. However, once the stone is engraved no changes can be made.
After the stone has been sand carved, I fill all the engraved areas with the requested colour finish. I also apply a layer of clear, weatherproof varnish to seal the paint. The last stage of my process is to hand carve the edges and finer details.
Your pets memorial stone will then be posted to you via Parcel Force 48 hours and fully trackable.
