Full description

Roasting garlic makes it soft, spreadable and makes it taste mild yet flavourful. It is a tasty addition to any meal, appetizer or even just as a snack.

Spread roasted garlic on bread or crackers, mash into your mashed potato ( heavenly ) stir through cooked vegetables and sauces, spread over meats or eat with a fork straight from the clove.

Preheat the oven to 400°F. Peel away the outer layers of the garlic bulb skin, leaving the skins of the individual cloves intact. Using a knife, cut off 1/4 to a 1/2 inch of the top of cloves, exposing the individual cloves of garlic. Place the garlic head on the dish and drizzle a couple teaspoons of olive oil over the top, Cover with the domed lid. Bake at 400°F for 30-35 minutes, or until the cloves feel soft when pressed.

Also useful as a garlic keeper and could make an excellent butter dish.

Handthrown on my pottery wheel using strong ivory stoneware clay and finished in my favourite dark sea blue reactive glaze.

Dimensions--11cm high and 16cm across.

Weight 685gm.

Foodsafe glaze....oven, dishwasher and microwave safe.

I am happy to combine shipping and of course to post anywhere.
