it is a fact universally acknowledged, that, as winter approaches, ones thoughts turn to scented candles....
This oil burner was handthrown by me on my pottery wheel using strong white stoneware clay then star holes carved out whilst still damp.
The candle light shines nicely through the holes--- I've included a few tealights and some melting granules to get you started.
Tip a teaspoon of granules onto the top and they will melt and fill the room with lovely perfume.
Otherwise you could fill the bowl with water and add a few drops of fragranced oil.
I have finished it in a pretty dark royal blue reactive glaze.
The burner measures 12cm across and 9cm high.
Weight 360gms
Dishwasher, oven and microwave safe ( you never know when you might need to).
