Welcome to Elizabeth Larsen Knitwear.
I design and knit Scandi-inspired knitwear and accessories in my studio in Cumbria, combining clean, modern lines with traditional techniques. Each piece is made to order in soft, hard-wearing yarns, many of them spun in Britain, including 100% Shetland lambswool spun in Scotland.
Many designs can be made in your choice of colours. Just message me and I'll send you the available shades.

A magenta pink and dark grey cowl knitted with the contour lines of Scafell and Scafell Pike, handmade in my Cumbrian studio. A bright, warm neck warmer for fell walkers, map readers and anyone with a soft spot for the Lake District.
Every Contours piece starts with a map. My husband, Mark Appleton, drew the contours of Scafell and Scafell Pike, and I spent weeks working out how to knit his lines so they ripple around the cowl just as they do across the fellside.
The cowl is knitted as a double layer, so it sits neatly around your neck, holds in warm air on exposed tops and wicks moisture away from your skin on the climb. Pull it up over your chin when the wind picks up.

Materials: 100% merino wool, with no chemical superwash treatment
