Full description
This Art is inspired by the dreadful persecution in Salem, Massachusetts of the Salem witches which was propelled by the concept of SPECTRAL EVIDENCE meaning a person's dreams could be used as evidence and in this case, they pitted a child against her mother who then gave evidence leading to her mum's death. Sadly, children are weaponised to this day in similar processes and Domestic Abuse is known to cause countless suicides. The killing of two women, Rose Cullender and Amy Denny in Bury St Edmunds in 1662 who were elderly ladies fuelled the concept that was used in the infamous Salem Witch Trials. No vindication has ever been made to these women/victims as it has in the USA.
