All baby knitwear is designed and hand crafted by demelzadesignerknitwear.com in Cornwall. All items meet UK baby clothing safety standards; no ties in booties, straps or long ties on hats or large knitted lacy or crotched holes in garment designs. Only branded premuim acylic, acrylic/natural fibre blends or pure natural fibre yarns are used conforming to BS984/76 standards.
Their knitwear patterns are not available to purchase to the general public. All knitwear is protected by ©️ design.
All items are dispatched by Royal Mail 48-hour tracking service as standard.
This is a genuine designer product. It has not been reproduced from any commercially published knitting pattern. Please respect the designer's full time profession, skills and modest income for hours of quality craftsmanship by not trying to replicate it. This includes different trims (flower designs and buttons), colourways and stitch formations.

This gorgeous soft newborn baby knotted pixie hat has been lovingly designed and hand crafted in Cornwall using machine washable 95 % merino wool with 5% polyester yarn . It will make a perfect luxury token newborn gift any mother would love to receive for her little one, especially knowing it's made from quality natural fibres.
Merino wool is a soft natural fiber sheared from specialized Merino sheep. Babies cannot regulate their own body temperature easily. Merino fibres trap air to keep little ones warm in the cold, but release excess heat and vapour when it is warm, preventing overheating. Unlike traditional sheep's wool, superfine merino wool fibres are extremely fine, smooth, and flexible. They bend gently against the skin instead of pricking it, meaning no scratchiness or irritation. It has naturally antibacterial properties and resistant to mould or dust mites, merino is gentle on sensitive skin and has been linked to a lower incidence of eczema flare-ups.
Merino wool has a natural high flame-retardant quality compared to many synthetic alternative and its antimicrobial properties fight odour-causing bacteria, meaning garments stay fresh for longer with less washing requirements unless soiled.
