Full description
Handmade fused glass 'Remote Cottage'.
This little cottage is central to the foreground of the composition. Set against a visually eye-catching piece of wispy blue Bullseye glass. Gorgeous swirls of atmospheric colours.
The Cottage and foreground and were created by using glass frit, glass sheet, glassline, chips of wispy glass, and dichroic glass flakes.
Once complete the picture was fired in my kiln at a temperature of 750oC. This takes 12 hours and allows the different glasses to gently melt and merge together.
Frame measures: 32.5cm width x 32.5cm height x 1.5cm depth.
Glass picture measures: 21cm width x 21cm height x 5mm depth.
There is a hook on the reverse for hanging.
Picture signed on reverse and front.
Designed by Alison MacVicar in Stewarton, East Ayrshire, Scotland.
