“I wanted to create something that was as enjoyable to look at as it is to use. Monkey Puzzle wood has such incredible natural character, with every knot, swirl and grain pattern completely different. I paired that natural beauty with a traditional cast iron handle to give the board a timeless, rustic feel. The ‘CHEESEBOARD’ inscription adds a little character while making its purpose unmistakable. My inspiration was simple – to take a beautiful piece of timber and turn it into something that can become part of those relaxed moments shared around a table with good food, good company and, of course, great cheese.”

A beautiful, completely unique cheeseboard handcrafted from Monkey Puzzle wood, chosen for its striking natural grain, warm colouring and wonderfully characterful knots.
Measuring approximately 8 inches wide and 11 inches long, this board has been carefully shaped, sanded and finished to bring out the natural beauty of the timber. Every board is different, with the grain patterns and markings telling the story of the tree it came from.
Adding to its rustic character is a sturdy cast iron handle, complete with “CHEESEBOARD” inscribed into the metal. The combination of natural Monkey Puzzle wood and traditional cast iron gives this piece a lovely rustic, farmhouse feel while still looking at home on a modern dining table.
Perfect for serving cheese, crackers, cured meats, fruit and nibbles, or simply displayed as a beautiful piece of handmade kitchenware.
Each piece of wood is unique, so the grain, knots and colouring will vary – making your cheeseboard genuinely one of a kind.
