This piece is inspired by the natural elegance of yew wood itself—one of the most characterful timbers to turn. The flowing curves of the form are designed to echo the organic growth patterns within the grain, allowing the wood to “speak” rather than forcing symmetry. Yew has long been associated with longevity and memory, making it especially fitting for a keepsake pot. The intention behind this piece is to create something both functional and meaningful—a small vessel to hold items of personal significance, while also standing as a display piece in its own right.
