Full description
This sumptuous scarf is woven in softest lambswool and features a design in which alternating blocks of the main colour are offset against wide lengthways stripes, punctuated by occasional pops of brighter colours. It's reminiscent of traditional checkerboard patterns, but more surprising and totally unique.
The background colours are natural white and sage green while the block pattern is picked out in a heathered green with occasional thin stripes of orange, yellow, and blue.
I call these 'lush' scarves because they are generously wide and long, giving you plenty of scope for wrapping, draping, squishing up or knotting it however you fancy.
This one is approx 30cm wide x 160cm long.
Every piece I make is unique and is woven at home in north Wales on my Louet floor loom.
This lambswool comes as surplus from British mills where it is normally used to produce high-end designer knitwear.
Wash infrequently, with care, and it will last you a lifetime.
