Full description
Ceramic swimmer mug with footprints and stripy towel and a tiny modelled swimming sitting on the handle with her feet dipped into the water. Please note that this is a MADE TO ORDER item so please check delivery date. PLEASE message if you would like to change to a male swimmer or have a different colour costume and towel.

During May I took on the Cancer Research challenge of swimming 10k during the month. It is a charity that is special to so many of us as without the research required to treat this disease we would lack the treatments so needed to cure and buy time for our loved ones.
A good size mug for a post swim cup of tea or coffee.
This cup is handthrown on my wheel and the handle is hand pulled. The handmade figure, towel and footprints are applied. Once bisque fired, the piece is handpainted including a red heart in the base and glazed with food safe lead free glaze before the final firing.
Each cup I produce have their own handmade characteristics and vary slightly in shape. The cup may VARY slightly from the photos in this listing.

Can be put in the dishwasher or microwave but hand washing recommended.
