Full description
Marcel's head and paws are made from grey porcelain, while a grey mohair was used to make his body and grey leather to create a tail. On his chest a floral motif has been hand embroidered to compliment the floral collar tied about his throat made from a Liberty tana lawn. Beneath this jester's ruff hang bronze bells that tinkle gently. Marcel is weighted and made to be seated, however his limbs are jointed with buttons to move at hip and shoulder.
For his heart stone I selected a Rose Quartz, petal pink like the flowers Marcel admires with sunshine.
DIMENSIONS: 12 cm high, 7 cm wide and 10 cm long.
MATERIALS: grey porcelain, sand, stuffing, metal, leather, Liberty tana lawn, buttons, ribbon, embroidery thread and one rose quartz stone.
