Plockton Village over looking the shores of Loch Carron Scotland established 1801-1810, Originally a crofting Village surviving the Great potatoe famine of 1840's when other villages didn't. Later it became a busy herring hub, It has an open air amphitheatre dating back to 1843, Duncraig Castle built in 1860 over looks the village.
