Full description
The necklace is created using a section of a cyanotype (sun print) picturing a leaf from a Herb Robert wild flower. They grow wild in the commons around my home and find there way in to my flower beds. When pressed the leaves have a purple tinge to the edges and the structure lends itself well to sunprinting.
Enclosed in resin in a stainless steel frame, the design has been sanded to a glass finish and the back of the design has an aged metallic quality to it by combining the resin with silver mica powder. The design is suspended on an 18 inch stainless steel chain.
