Kivi - Source Collection
Thinking outside the box.
This artwork tells the story of my creative path. Twenty years ago, I studied jewelry making in Montreal. I was always the student who wanted to "think outside the box," even when my teachers told me to follow the rules. Later, I studied glassblowing and psychology. Today, I can see how all these experiences shaped my art.
Kivi means "stone" in Finnish. It represents the strength I have found through my journey. In this piece, I use rose petals like precious metals. The rock crystal creates a bridge between my past as a jeweler and my current passion for flowers.
Technical details:
Size: 13 x 13 cm art (27 x 27 x 6 cm frame).
Flowers: Rose petals from France and Finland.
Materials: Rock crystal, gold leaf and eco-friendly Finnish birch.
Protection: UV varnish and high-quality anti-reflective glass (AR 92) included.
Date: Created in November 2022.
