I am a freelance artist & illustrator, whose work is created using a mixture of chalk pastel, pencil and coloured pencil. I sell Giclee Art prints, drawings, greeting cards, wrapping paper, stickers, ceramic ornaments and coasters, tote bags and wall calendars - all featuring my illustrations!

Full description
Loosely based on a milky eagle owl which I saw at the Scottish Owl centre, this is a dreamy and ethereal drawing, which I created using soft pastels and pencils. My focus was on atmosphere and feeling and letting something emerge - after several little experiments, it was the golden egg which felt right and it felt like the owl was protecting it, so I gave this piece the title "The Guardian" (no relationship to the newspaper!)
Measuring 23cm by 20.5cm, this piece will bring a little ethereal magic to any room!
It is signed by me on the front and I can write a dedication, title etc on the back it you would like!
