Sustainability is important to me and I promote the ethos of slow fashion. The dress is well made but needed something to turn it into a timeless, special dress - to be loved.
I am inspired by Japanese Shashiko embroidery - especially white embroidery on dark blue and indigo fabric. Howver one need a thicker fabric for the Shashiko running stitches and I chose a different embroidery stitch.

Full description
This lovely summer dress is made from lightweight navy cotton. It is a wrap dress - the wrap is deep and offer good coverage - even in windy weather.
The bodice is above the waist line and the skirt section is gathered. The puff sleeves ends above the elbow and have elastic at the ends.
I bought this dress vinted as new without tags. I added the white hand embroidery which changed an ordinary dress into something special. The design I used for the embroidery is often seen in Japanese Shashiko embroidery.
