I love working with linen - wether it is making clothes or weaving. It has become my favourite fibre to weave with, mainly because it is so obviously hand made. This was my first attempt to paint on the warp before weaving. I painted circles and it was interesting to so how the circles became distorted towards the end of the warp.

Full description
Lovely cream 100% linen handwoven scarf. It has Ikat technique circular shapes in olive green. The warp was handpainted before weaving for the Ikat design. This scarf was made with the individualist in mind who loves and appreciates items that are made by hand and special.
