Hello I'm Jackie, I am an Abstract Artist based in Southwest Devon.
I paint contemporary, floral abstract paintings, filled with joy, energy and a splash of childhood nostalgia.

A bright and uplifting celebration of the garden - 'Neighbours Hollyhocks'
There is something so joyful about the way Hollyhocks tower over garden fences. This original painting, 'Neighbours Hollyhocks' is my tribute to those tall, dancing blooms. A warm visual hug, designed to bring the softness and light of a summer morning indoors.
I used a palette of sun-drenched peaches and hot pinks, along with zesty lemons. While the colours are fresh, bright and cheerful, the application is soft and soothing, creating a dreamlike, pastel atmosphere that adds a sense of calm and happiness to any room in your home.
Size - 55.5cm x 27.5cm including frame

Created by Jackie Reynolds in my little Devon studio. My work is inspired by my background as a florist, my love for the natural world and a memory full of childhood summers, spent in gardens exploring.
