I always dreamed of carding beautiful art batts to spin and felt, I love combining colours that I find pleasing and am over the moon to be able to share these fibre batts with other crafters who don’t perhaps have access to a drum carder or even hand carders.

Corriedale & Merino wools, blended by Sammy in her home studio. Batt weighs: 100g
Rusted Tropics - Inspiration comes from tropical cocktails, tropical fish, rusted & oxidised copper and that famous Scottish fizzy drink! This colour combination with its bright blue zingy pops is a crowd favourite, being my best seller at Spring into Wool. Spin from the fold and chain ply for maximum colour separation, or spin it however pleases you! As you can see from the sample yarn which was a simple 2ply, this blend stays bright and not at all muddy.
Every batt is drum carded with care, to a set recipe and in the same colour order every time. It is a handmade product so there may be some variation, but every effort is made to ensure they are alike.
Suitable for wet felting, needle felting and spinning. Perfect for art yarn!
Fibre sourced from reputable UK suppliers, from non mulesed flocks.
