Working as a gardener in a care home, I’m lucky enough to spend my days helping residents reconnect with the outdoors — with wildlife, animals, and the little moments that spark memories and smiles.
Recently, we had the absolute joy of watching six Pekin ducklings hatch right before our eyes. For ten wonderful days they filled the garden with life, mischief, and laughter. Their tiny waddles and cheeky antics captured hearts, sparked conversations, and rekindled treasured memories for so many of our residents.
Those special days inspired me to create a series of watercolour artworks celebrating our six little characters and the happiness they brought to our home.
These prints are more than just pictures — they’re a celebration of connection, memory, and the simple joy that animals can bring. If one of these ducklings makes you smile as much as they made us smile, I’d be delighted for you to give one a home.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

These are A4 original watercolours inspired by looking after some Peking ducklings for 10 days watching them hatch and watching their funny antics. please note this is on white paper. I did not wish to edit the photo to take away from the authenticity of the artwork.
